Fleur De Lis Pendant

It's been a while since I did a craft show.  I'm getting that restless antsy feeling which could only mean that it's time to find one soon.  While doing my research for that, I've been working on some new jewelry ideas, and putting them in my Etsy shop.

I love this image from The Graphics Fairy, so I made this...

I used Stampbord as my base, and covered it silver Rub n' Buff.

I used my tissue paper printing trick with some silver tissue paper I had.  I put a layer of Mod Podge onto the Stampbord and gently placed the image on top.

I actually did this step a second time, because I felt I didn't trim away enough of the tissue paper.  I was left with this interesting detail from the Mod Podge, and I decided to leave it there.  In fact, I used a bit of black stamping ink to bring it out some more.

I mixed up some two part resin, and brushed it over the top.   What do you think?

  1. It's gorgeous, Christine! I love all of the texture, makes me think of old plaster walls. And of course I adore the fleur di lis. This is going to be a big hit in your shop!!

  2. I love it Christine! When I have some money saved up after Snap I'm gonna have to come look in your shop!

I won't deny it, I love comments! Thanks...
