A Thanksgiving Day Card with The Graphics Fairy

There's nothing like a last minute holiday card!  I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I am looking forward to a respite away from the day to day madness.

I just don't know what I would do without Karen at The Graphics Fairy! How fabulous is this turkey?
You know how much I love printing onto vellum paper (with an ink jet),  then adding embossing powder and heat setting it.  I backed the turkey with a lovely textured brown paper, and taped it to a gray card.

Some vintage type washi tape went under the bird,  for a little bit of detail.

The greeting is cut out of brown vinyl on my Silhouette.  I am so wishy washy when it comes to fonts, I swear that's what takes up most of my time when I do a project! Is anyone else like that? Please say yes...

This pretty little acorn cluster is also from Karen's site, and is on the back of the card.  I printed this onto vellum paper as well.
The colors in both of these images are so vibrant, I love them!  Thanks Karen...

  1. These are so beautiful Christine!!! The vellum is such an elegant touch!
I have the same problem with fonts! I don't know if you saw that "Joy to the World" red frame, that I posted the other day, but it took me forever to choose fonts for it! I always have to try every single one for some reason!
    Great job!

  2. Very pretty and even though I'm not wishy-washy about Fonts, I do understand!
