Making a special card for such a momentous occasion, is such a joy for me. It's a huge event that causes so many mixed feelings.
There is the pride of ownership, the knowledge in the fact that you can paint the walls however you like, and finish a room in your very own style.
The flip side of that happiness, is the stress and worry. What if something breaks down? There isn't a landlord to call...you are the landlord.
However stressful this time might be, I think it's an important event that should be celebrated.
I saw this sweet little house over at Karen's site, and I knew it was perfect for my daughter's friend and her mother.
It's so darling. The image was black and white, so I colored it in with pencils. I love coloring! I glued it to a piece of scrapbook paper after making the corners fancy.
I added a strip of the same paper, and wrote "home sweet home" below. Here's the back, which I thought was appropriate for fall.
This is stamped in black and colored in with pencils as well.
It looks like such a happy little home!
Have a great Monday my friends...
