Wrapping up my jewelry

Yesterday, I showed you my earring and necklace set.  I made it for a customer (yay!), and I am bringing them to her tomorrow.

I love presenting an order like a gift.  I want to make my customers and friends feel very special, even if it's a gift they are purchasing for someone else.  I think it also has to do with my love of all things paper!

So this is a little strange, because I have two after pictures.  Here's number one...

Tags are such a favorite thing of mine, and I have such a great time incorporating them like this.  Let's start from the beginning, shall we?

I started with a tag that I had in my stash, and chose a piece of scrapbook paper to back it.  I cut it with decorative scissors, and used sticky tape.

I made two small cuts at the top for the necklace.

I flipped over the tag and put the necklace into a small plastic craft bag and taped it down with a piece of washi tape.  This is the time that I punched tiny holes for the earrings.

The dimensional foam squares went along the outside so another piece of card stock could cover the back.  The last thing I added, was some colorful fiber.

When the tag was finished, I made a pillow box, and decorated it with an "L" stamp for my customer.  There is a little note of thanks, and another business card inside with the set.

Thanks for coming by! Happy Friday to you...
