Recipe holder-The Pumpkin Pals Edition

I'd like you to meet a couple of my new friends.  They're pretty handy fellows.

I think they are pretty good looking too.  Remember the recipe holder I made here?  I got the original idea from David.  Thanks David!

One day, it occurred to me that I could make recipe holders that were seasonal. That's how these orange cuties came to life.

These blocks were going to be thrown out, and I rescued them! I painted them orange, green and black and glued them together with E6000. I wanted to use my Gorilla Glue, but it dried out. Frowny face. I have to say the E6000 worked great in a pinch.

I painted the faces, which was a big deal for me.  I just knew that the bottom dude was going to be looking up at the little dude.  Aren't they funny?

  1. I think you did a great job on the faces--very cute!

  2. Oh I just love them you did a great job on them!

    Speaking of Gorilla Glue
I did not know that Gorilla Glue expanded and we used it to fix my husbands shoes, lets just say that my husband is a good sport for wearing shoes with these foam looking
