Traditional and elegant wedding favors

Happy 4th of July, my friends!  I hope this post finds you enjoying your day with special people and good times...

Last Monday, I shared my monogrammed wedding stickers for my niece's upcoming nuptials.  This week, I want to share this little package I created with the help of The Graphics Fairy.

I downloaded the frame image and typed in the phrase.  Since this is fairly small (3 1/4'' by 2 1/4"), I wanted the font to be pretty but legible.

I applied Stickles in Diamond in the corners of the frames before I cut them with my trimmer.  In my experience, it's easier to keep them on the sheet.  I hung them on my trusty clothesline to dry.

I found these adorable little glassine bags on Etsy at one of my favorite shops Pretty Tape.

After I cut the frames with my trimmer, I used glue dots to stick them to the bags.

The frame is just fancy enough!  The little dash of sparkle is subtle but eye catching. Wedding planning anyone?

  6. Beautifully done as always, Christine! I love that poem. I've never heard it, but it makes me wish I had known it and had sugared almonds at my wedding!

  7. Beautiful, Christine! I thought I was 'all done' w/weddings, but my nephew is getting married next year. I'll have to start a file on Pinterest. This will be my first pin!
