Subway art on a letter--the sci-fi edition

A few days ago, I brought you my subway art on a letter--the baseball edition.  That was Son One's choice for his theme.  Son Two was all about Transformers, Star Wars, and other stuff like that...

I don't even know half these people...ummmm characters!  Okay, maybe half...

It started out like this--plain paper mache.  This time, I took it outside and spray painted it with oil rubbed bronze.

This color is perfect in his room.  The next step was just to cut white vinyl out with my Silhouette (go Rocco!), and place it all over the letter.

One of the huge selling points of the Silhouette (for me), was that you can use any font you have on your computer.  I had downloaded a Star Wars font, and I got to use it with this appropriate project.

I am on a winning streak with these monograms over here...The only issue I have now, is that Dolly wants something like this.  Maybe for her project, I'll switch things up a bit.

Stay tuned!

PS Just so you know, I am offering these in my Etsy shop...the possibilities are endless!

  10. If it weren't 1:16 am, I'd call my daughter over to take a look at this -- she's a huge Pokemon fan, and is absolutely going to flip when she sees what you've created.
