So... what's new?

Oh yeah, baby!  It's my latest acquisition, and of course I have a story that goes along with it.  She's sleek, isn't she?

Like many of my blogging friends, this machine has been on my wish list for over a year. And like many of my friends, I faithfully entered all of the giveaways that would crop up every few months.  Sadly, I never got to open a winning email, and I just couldn't rationalize the three hundred dollar price tag.

One day, while on Facebook, I saw someone mention the great deal they got on a Silhouette on Overstock.com.  She didn't mention a specific price, but her statement peaked my curiosity and I checked it out.  Without saying exactly what the price was (let's just say less than two hundred dollars), the price I saw was pretty fantastic.

Before you go clicking over there...wait!!  I did not purchase it right away.  I had never shopped their site before,  so I opened an account for future purchasing.   And then, I decided to sleep on it.

The next day, I received a welcome email from Overstock.com.  Great...hello.  A few hours later, I received a ten-percent-off-my-first-purchase coupon code.  HELLO!

All in all, I paid about half the original retail price for my gorgeous, fun, exciting machine!  From what I'm understanding out there in the Blog world, I'm supposed to name her...Could someone let me know if that's true?

I was not compensated for this blog post.  I had a great shopping experience, and I wanted to share it with you.  Thanks for reading!
