Best. Cornbread. Ever.

My husband received this recipe from a co-worker, and without mincing any words...it rocks! Want to see?

 Hey--wait a minute...  Jeez guys, did it even cool off?

Yes...it's that delicious.  Corn bread can tend to be dry, but this recipe is very moist...and yummy.  I said that already, didn't I?  Here's the lowdown:

 Best. Cornbread. Ever.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

1/2 cup cornmeal 
1 1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon honey
2 eggs (lightly beaten)
1 1/4 cup milk

Mix just until blended.  Pour into 8 inch square pan, and bake for 35 minutes.

  4. The cornbread was too sweet for us, I'll try it again but cut the sugar in half. The Husband (a cornbread fiend) loved it.
