...for one of the cutest little baby girls I've ever seen! A few months ago, I made this for her bedroom door. We finally got to meet her, so I wanted to make a pretty card for her sweet folks.
I used a lot of different stuff for this, but I wanted to share how I made the hanger and dress.
Ready for another favorite product of mine? I love this permanent colored copper wire from Artistic Wire Ltd. They come in two feet long pieces in a variety color pack. I chose the color I wanted, twisted it, and bent it into a hanger shape...
I know you can buy little tiny hangers, but I love being able to make my own in the color and size I want. It's just another symptom of ICTMTM Syndrome (I-can-totally-make-that-myself).
Onto the polka-dot dress. I drew the dress onto card stock--getting the inspiration from the stamp from the door hanger. After cutting it out, I traced it onto the paper I wanted, and drew in the details.
I added a flower brad, and a punched out a butterfly for some dimension. It is attached to the card with
3-D foam adhesive squares, so it pops up a bit.
It's very simple, but adds to the overall theme. Thanks for joining me today. This is one of my favorite kinds of cards to create, and I'm glad I could share it with you.
