So, I have this muslin...

Over our little break, I was hanging out with my friend. We were cutting circles of fabric for a project that she found. For some bizarre reason, I can't stop cutting them. And that was a week ago!  While I was cutting my own circles, I realized I wanted to jazz my fabric up.

Want to see what happens when I just sit down with some muslin, watercolor pencils, and good old H2O?  First, a picture of the end result...

The colors are pretty, right?  Here's how I did it...

I took a scrap piece of muslin, and squeezed some water from a bottle onto the fabric.

I took a watercolor pencil, and drew through the drops of water.  I love the effect it made on the material.  I added more drops as I worked my way down the material.

By the time I got to the end of the strip, the whole thing was pretty soaked.  It's a good thing I have a clothesline in the war room!

What am I using the material for?  Another day, another project...
Have a great night!

I'll see you soon...maybe at these places!
