I'm all business

Oh come on--you didn't believe that, right?  Whew!

You may remember a little while ago, I made business cards for my blog and Etsy shop.  The next logical step, would be getting something to carry them in.  I was lucky enough to have a sturdy metal holder on hand.

It was in great condition, it just had a logo on the front.  Something just had to be done about that!  I chose a piece of scrapbook paper, and curved the edges with a corner punch.  I used my Mod Podge to glue it over the logo...

Yes, yes--of course it's black paper! It's looking good here, but needs more.

Enter The Graphics Fairy (hi Karen, hi!).  She has all of these wonderful frames, which range from quite simple to very ornate.  I would say that the one I chose was pretty fancy.  After I saved it on my computer, I simply entered in my text using Picasa 3.

I printed it onto gray card stock, and gave it the old embossing powder treatment. I cut it out, glued and sealed it with Mod Podge.

What do you think?  I love the way it came out.  It's better than I pictured in my crazy head--and that is always a good thing!  I hope you all have a great week...

Too bad there's only room for cards in it.  Oh well, I'm going here anyway...
