One from the archives

What a Wednesday!

Once upon a time, it used to feel like the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas was a blur.  Now it seems that the blur has started right after Halloween!  Am I the only one feeling this way?

New projects are in the works, and I am excited to share them.  For today, I wanted to share one of my very favorite cards...

I made this for a friend whose parents were celebrating a big anniversary.  The golden heart in the vellum pocket was created from my Cuttlebug.  I punched a hole in the top and threaded through some raffia.  I like the mix of elegance and earthiness.

I love cards like this one...simple but meaningful and sweet.  Have a wonderful evening!

  1. I know what you mean about the blur! I have holiday confusion disorder having done some Thanksgiving decorating and worked on Christmas ornaments! Love the card!

  2. I really like the pocket idea on the front of the card.

  3. What a cute card, Christine! I have some vellum that I didn't know what to do with. Until now! Thanks for the great inspiration:)

  4. The card's beauty is in its simplicity. I love little cards like this.

I won't deny it, I love comments! Thanks...
