I heart Martha

I can't believe that I only just "liked" her on Facebook a few days ago.  It's also hard to believe that none of my friends have commented on my status with a huge "duh!"

I have heard fantastic, marvelous, standing ovation worthy reviews about her glitters.  Guess what? I'm joining the crowd and drinking the kool-aid,  Folks!  I redeemed a great coupon and got a variety pack that had glitter that could be used for fall and Christmas crafts. I do have my moments...

Some of these wooden game pieces were kicking around my craft area.  I painted them a country tan color.

Hi, I'm Christine, and I hoard scrapbook paper.  For years. Seriously.  It's cute though, right?

I cut some squares out, and detailed the leaves with some glue and glitter.  I added some Stickles and self adhesive pearls.  I used my hot glue gun to fix them to some very fancy trim I had in my stash.

These squares could absolutely be made into magnets too, don't you agree?   I'm seeing another glitter purchase in my future...

Where would Martha go?

Keeping It Simple

  4. Everything's better with glitter! :-) Great project, and the same method could apply to all sorts of art/craft projects.
