Just a couple of days until...

My favorite holiday is here and gone!  Cue dripping sarcasm.  I'm Halloween-d out Folks, I won't lie to you.  I have to say that I enjoyed preparing for it more this year than ever before.  I know it's because of the very inspirational ideas that my fellow blog artisans have been sharing throughout the month.

My very wonderful friend's birthday is on Halloween.  Nice, right?  I love making her something that has to do with that holiday that happens to fall on her important day.  I started with this piece of scrapbook paper...

Are they the cutest things? Ever? That girlie in the pointy hat looks familiar to me. Hmmm...

I cut out one of each of the little darlings with my handy exacto. I put them aside while I Mod Podged some green card stock onto a scrap piece of wood. I inked around the edges with brown StazOn ink, and glued green ribbon onto the back for a hanger.

Awww... I am very happy with the way it came out, and I got two hugs for it...so I think it was a hit!
