Teachers are notorious stashbusters

I have had an idea for my friends who are teachers for a while and since the first full week starts Monday, I thought I'd make these up as a small "have a great year" gift.

I bought these so long ago, it's embarrassing quite frankly.  I wasn't crazy about the gold thread, so I knew that would go.  I inked all of the edges with my brown StazOn Ink, and then used a white paint pen to write the names so it would look like chalk.

Are those tiny buttons the greatest?  I had a hard time deciding between self-adhesive pearls and the buttons to finish the middle of my paper flowers.

The pearls won the spot on this project. I used tacky glue to stick the flowers to the frames.  I love this idea, it was short and sweet...and I busted some serious stash!
