It wasn't so horrible

I can't believe that today is the last day of the Stashbusting Challenge.  It went by very quickly, and I am very proud to say that I made it through!  I used so much of my stuff, and felt really creative.  I even ventured into a Michael's with a friend one afternoon, and all I did was help her pick out some glue, and wait a long time to check out.  Ask her, she'll vouch for me.

Did I miss the stores? Sure, I love to wander through them and be inspired by shiny new embellishments.  But  I realized that I have quite a collection of products here, and I liked making a dent in my supplies.  I also had quite a few laughs with my fellow stashbusters, and that is always great.

Would I stashbust again?  Absolutely, without a doubt.  It was a great experience.  First, I will need to get some more Mod Podge though...

I will leave you with a card I made, using scraps of scrapbook paper.  I call it "the quickest card I ever created."

  1. We did it! And while I've joked (mostly) about rushing back to the stores as soon as they open tomorrow, I missed them far less than I thought I would and definitely had no shortage of stuff to play with. I'm mostly excited because they've had a whole month to put stuff on clearance! So I can go back to my deal scrounging and not feel so bad about shopping :) Thanks for being such an amazing supporter!!

  2. Very inspiring blog you got! Thanks!

  3. Hey! This card looks familiar! :) It's so cute, but why was it so easy to make? Do you have dino punches?

  4. I love those dinosaurs! They are so cute...I mean scary! I need to bust my stash!

  5. My secret for saving money and fulfilling my need to shop. I go shopping online. I fill up the cart with all the stuff I think I need or just have to have. Then I let it sit there all day while I do my blog and other stuff. Later in the evening I go look at that cart again, and I come to my senses and wonder what the heck was I thinking. I sadly close the page and feel like I accomplished something. My name is Brenda and I am an impulse shopper.

I won't deny it, I love comments! Thanks...
