Room for Prince One...done!

At least the painting of it is done.

Most of us do it.  We take on too much, it's as if we can't help ourselves.  I should certainly know the feeling by now. Do you know what I'm talking about?  That feeling that you are being overwhelmed by something that is bigger than you can handle?

So what do you do about it?  Me? I just say, bring it on sister!  With inspiration in hand, I dive in and plow through!  Who's with me?  Anybody?

My "boyos" have shared a room since baby brother was born eight years ago.  They get along pretty normally for brothers, but we have the extra room and so it's time for a change.  Bunk beds have been divided, and now room one of three is painted!  It's actually the final room of our home that needed a painting, so it's quite the milestone for us.

I painted this quite a while ago...good for a little guy.  Time for an updated version...stay tuned!

  1. I say "You go girl!!!!" A woman after my own heart. I'm still recovering from a "mono type" virus, but yet I'm taking on the recorating of my entire downstairs (entry, LR, DR, kitchen, eating area, family room, plus an upstairs bathroom). Am I CRAZY or what. Can't wait to see all the final pictures!! :-)

  2. I certainly know what you mean. I do the same thing ~ Over-commit ~ Bite off more than I can chew ~ overextend... But never wanting to disappoint, I always find a way to rise to the occasion. Problem is, I create a lot of stress in the process (just for myself). I've been trying very hard, this year, to do a better job at scheduling myself and not raising my hand every time someone asks for a volunteer.

  3. I love the "r" the paint & colors are so cute!!!

I won't deny it, I love comments! Thanks...
