Christmas in July!

Happy Friday!  My friend Carol over at The Answer is Chocolate is having a Christmas Open House in July link party! Now that's saying a lot in one sentence.

I am linking this Christmas card that I love to make.

I used a holly punch, and punched out a couple of different shades and textures of green card stock.

Next I traced a circle with a pencil in the center of my card. Then I glued the holly cut-outs around and on top of the circle.  I liked using the two different kinds of paper, I think it gives the wreath some texture.

I finished it off with red seed beads (I glued them with Diamond Glaze), and a red yarn bow.  I hope you like it!

Happy Holidays!

  3. I DO like it! I love homemade cards so much more than anything you can buy,and that is really pretty.

I can't even think about Christmas in July. EEEK! Intellectually, I know that I should, and obviously Hobby Lobby agrees because their stuff is out. Looks like I need a good old kick in the tush to get going.
