Happy Apple Card

I typically buy scrapbook paper by the single sheet, as I love to vary my selection.  However, I recently purchased the Grade School Stack from DCWV , and I have to say I am enjoying it.  I made a set of my perpetual calendar blocks with papers that were all from that collection.  My friend (who is a wonderful teacher) celebrated her birthday this week, and I made her this card.

This cheerful fellow is stamped with StazOn ink in black, colored in with watercolor pencils, and blended with a brush and water. I think he's happy that school is almost out.  The background paper is pretty darn cute. This would be great for an "end-of-the-year-thanks-for-putting-up-with-my-kid-all-year-card" too.

  2. Cute! I love DCWV stacks. Yes plural. Not because I have stacks. Plural. Because that might signal a problem. And that would be bad right?

  3. I love that apple stamp! Do you remember where you got it? That would be perfect since he goes to Happy Apple preschool. The water color pencil technique is really cool too. I don't think I have seen that before.
