Have you ever met Flat Stanley?

There is a book series about a boy named Flat Stanley. Because of his "flat-ness" he is able to go to different places by mail. My kids have all had this great teacher who has her students make their very own "Stanley."

So, the thought process is that my child sends Stanley out to a relative or friend, and they keep a journal of sorts about their travels for one week. This last Stanley went to one of my best friend's houses, and in addition to the playground and school pictures, this is what we received...

  3. Gorgeous. For some reason, though I have heard of Flat Stanley, he has escaped our children's lives. I will need to rectify this.

I love your "Because I'm rarely alone" sub header. I just thought "oh yes, I understand that completely". x

  6. Brilliant! I loved Flat Stanley when I was a kid, so much so that I bought the book for my son when he was just a few months old (he's only 4 now so still too young to read it). So lovely that he is still going strong and has a penchant for the hardstuff.
