Creative recycling

As many people do, I LOVE crafty things. Glue, tape, buttons, ribbon, embellishments, paper, etc.  I am fortunate enough to have a space to put my things and create (when there is a clear surface).  I started collecting (rescuing) jars and putting my fun stuff in them.  I admit that I did this mostly to save money on storage so I could buy more crafty things!  I found a couple of cute projects on Mod Podge Rocks and combined them to jazz up my little collection. Below is an example of what the jar looked like before. I chose it for the neat shape.

And this is an "after" example.  Cuter, right?  These ideas were featured on Mod Podge Rocks.  I found the graphics at The Graphics Fairy.  I used Mod Podge for both parts of the project.

These are two more of my faves...the boys here are huge fans of the vintage baseball graphic.  An added bonus to this project, is that I actually made two up and put some peanut butter cup minis in them for little impromptu thank you gifts! I'm totally addicted to this project! Thanks for looking...

  1. Much cuter! I"m surprised that the lid can still close with the paper decopaged to the edge of it. I never thought about doing that. I'm sure it was a unique and cute gift!
